Bullseye, a smokeless pistol powder, was originally introduced to shooters in 1913. It's fast burning, consistent, economical and ideal for loading 45 ACP target loads.

Excellent powder for ...

Excellent powder for target shooting. This powder measures quite accurately and charges are small. I have used Bullseye for over 30 years for 38 spl WC loads,44 special WC loads, 45 ACP & Auto Rim WC loads. Exceptional accuracy. Also works well for 32 S&W Long target loads. You can load thousands of rounds with just one pound.

This is the first powder I have used to reload 9mm and will not buy again. Previous reviews say it burns clean but I find this as far from the truth as possible. I have been using it behind 115gr bullets in my Hi-Point Carbine and have not been getting good groups at 15 yards. Smells awful when it burns, this doesn't play any part in the rating I'm giving it, and the cases are very charred looking. If you like powder that sticks to your powder thrower/anything it comes in contact with then this is for you. Too dirty and inaccurate for me.

This is excellent powder for target loads in the .45acp, and .38 special cartridges with all bullet weights. I always clean my guns after a shooting session so the firing residue is not a concern for me. I am surprised that the cost for eight pounds is still as reasonable as it is, and a little goes a long way, also accuracy is superb.

I have been loading with ...

I have been loading with Bullseye since the early 1980s. I consistently load light and Bullseye is well suited for this. I have noted that even as I have changed lots over the years, there is no discernible change in the point of impact. One of my favorites is loading the 38 Special with a 105 grain cast bullet (Lee). Recoil is almost nonexistent and is almost as cheap as 22 LR and the brass lasts forever.

Alright I really like ...

Alright I really like this powder and it seems to be its fairly accurate and no misfires. the thing I really hate though about this type of powder is that it is super, SUPER dirty when firing over 100 rounds. It tends to clog the barrel and you cant even the rifling of the barrel. Yet, its a fairly good product and I insist getting it but make sure you have allot of gun cleaning products.

Bullseye packs my 357 ...

Bullseye packs my 357 mag, 45ACP and 44 mag reloads and delivers clean, consistent shooting performance. When I want some "hot" 45 Colt loads I use Bullseye. It can't be beat.

This powder is very ...

This powder is very versatile if you're looking to load soft rounds or hot rounds. You can get very good velocities with this powder and it is very consistent in my RCBS Uniflow. But, this is a very dirty powder. This stuff shoots well but really makes cases dirty and is a very sticky powder. I still have small flakes of Bulls eye in my Uniflow from months ago. A good powder if you don't mind the dirty factor.

Over the years I've tried ...

Over the years I've tried at least 10 different pistol powders and Bullseye remains at the top of my list. It's been the most accurate powder Ive used (38, 9mm & 45). A little powder goes a long ways, the down side is that it's not flakey so you need to be very careful you don't double charge.

Ive been reloading for a ...

Ive been reloading for a few years and I like the versatility of Bullseye. I dont have countless powders to confuse or heavier grain counts to reduce my round harvest. Even when I find other powders plentiful in the local store, they are WAY more than Bullseye. One pound of this stuff will last allot on small ammo and plenty good on bigger bore ammo. You can't beat bullseye for the consistency, affordability and flexibility> Some say its "dirty" I disagree. If you fire hot loads with lead bullets and no gas checks ANY POWDER is going to be dirty, but if you use full metal jackets, or gas checks Bullseye is clean enough for me. The money I save on the Powder goes to buying more bullets and Primers. That equals more range time, now how else are you going to beat that?

GREAT powder. Burns clean, measures wonderfully. VERY accurate. Tops for light loads in .38 special, .357 mag, 9mm, and .45ACP. A little goes a long way and that's important in todays economy.
