I agree with John. No way to center case. Your gong to do a lot of setting up each time you change from one to the other. The best way to use, is by hand. They do a great job by hand. Their large enough to hold on to.

I recently bought the ...

I recently bought the Hornady case trimmer and these attachments. The case trimmer's great (w/ in 0.0005" after adjustment with no measurable movement), but these attachments are unnecessary. There are 3 reasons to get the hand tool instead of these. 1. They take 3-4 times longer to use in the case trimmer tool than to do by hand (putting in the case, securing it, then un-camming it), 2. The force applied from the case trimmer is less controllable than by hand, resulting in uneven chamfers; the trimmer works b/c of the pilot centering the case, but these tools have no centering device, and 3. The force applied by the trimmer is harder to limit than by hand; it's very easy to cut too much with the tool; by hand, you can just barely cut the metal but still get out all the burrs. And as point 3a, it's twice what the hand tool costs. In sum, I just use these by hand instead of in the case trimmer. I would greatly recommend the hand tool over these.

Easy to use. Accurate ...

Easy to use. Accurate once it is adjusted to specs. The cases are very consistent. The quality is excellent as I have found with all Hornady products.
