I would recommend going with a different color other than black for the targets. At 10+ yards its hard to see where you are coming in at. I usually turn the target backwards so its blank paper and put a sticky target in the middle, works great like that

These targets are ok for ...

These targets are ok for informal practice, as long as the shooter has some experience. They are proportioned to be fired at from 15 feet. At 10 yards and beyond, a new shooter may be discouraged at the marginal hits they achieve due to the targets narrow profile. Case in point, the wife firing a Smith Airwieght for the first time. Overall a good value due to the large count package, and more interesting than shooting at round bulls.

I started using the full size target and changed to the B-29...In it's smaller size I found my students shooting better, tighter center mass hits. The make for better scores.
