Used this water filter system when Elk Hunting this past October in Colorado for 7 days. We put stream water into the bag each night and had the drip tube going into a water jug. The water is filtered through the filter system at the bottom of the bag and into the jug as filtered water. This is a slick process and the water tasted great and was safe to drink. All the outfitters in the area where we hunt now use this method for their hunters water source as do all the DIY Elk hunter in the area.The filter hangs from the center pole of the outfitters tent at the back of the tent so it is out of the way but filtering water all the time. In freezing weather you will have to heat the tent so that water will drip. We did ours at night when the tent was warm and never had any problems and it was -5 outside. Product works great and you can clean the filter when needed. Really flows alot of water that we used for drinking and cooking.
