Product Information

This DPMS Stainless Steel AR-15 Barrel is fully chambered in 223 Remington and ready to install on an upper receiver. The barrel is constructed of 416 Stainless Steel and features versatile 1 in 8" Right Hand Twist Button Rifling, making it a good choice for use with projectiles toward the heavier end of the 223 Rem spectrum. The barrel is fluted to reduce weight and increase the exterior surface area to help speed cooling during long strings of fire. The muzzle is threaded 1/2"-28 for the addition of a flash suppressor, compensator or sound suppressor. Barrel extension and locator pin are both included and installed at the factory.
