Mine still had some threads left sitting on it from the factory floor, and was brand new condition.

These go down to your knees, so don't expect to make any fashion statements, but it's going to be a WARM coat for winter camping trips. A military issue goretex fits over it just fine, but you will look like you are wearing a dress with this underneath and sticking out the bottom. The only downside, but it's practical, especially when you are sitting still.
