This carbine length stock features a black matte finish with a built-in swivel. Includes an end plate, stock nut, aluminum carbine buffer tube, buffer and buffer tube spring. Telescoping model locks in 6 different positions. This stock also features a built in sling mount.

First thing to know is that this stock uses the new style 3 prong stock wrench. The older 1 prong wrench will work though, but may leave a slight mark. I found the construction sound and more study/robust than the older CAR stock, no burrs or sharp edges. Easy to install, just remember that there are pins under spring pressure while you are removing the old stock. Nice fit, finish and fuctions smoothly

I read the other reviews stating that the stock "rattled", but took a chance anyway since every M4 style stock I've ever seen had some play in it, plus the price was good. The stock on this one really moves around. Quite a bit. The tube is great. Finish is spotless and the fit is nice and tight. Matches my upper and lower well. No complaints about the buffer and spring. The end plate, well, it's hard to screw up an end plate, so it's great too. That stock though is something else. Thankfully, I was probably going to go with a different stock anyway, so it's not such a big deal. I'll just add this one to the spare parts box.

Great buy for the money...mine did rattle but I added a hydraulic buffer and smoothed things out and now cycles like a champ. If you're looking for a low cost alternative, take a chance. You won't be dissapointed...and of course Midway delivered on their shipping promise. On my doorstep two days later!

just got this stock today I think it is great. It is a little stiff, but if you put a little gun oil on a rag and wipe it on the tube it will move very smooth. It fits my dpms lower great and comes with everything you need.(besides wrench)I would tell everyone to buy one, if you want a good stock for a good price.

Compared to my Smith and Wesson M&P 15 which came with a collapsible stock this stock is not even close, it rattles like crazy and is hard to find holes, do not like it at all, I gave it 2 stars because it functions and thats about it.

Great product for the price, don't expect to pay 60 bucks for a tube, spring, buffer, and stock and expect it to perform like a 150-200 setup. For the price it is an excellent product.I have bought 3 of these and had great results. Easy to install.

This stock serves its basic purpose as a stock but that's about it. Mine has way to much play in it to be used in tactical shooting competitions. About a 1/4" rotational play, 1/8" vertical and horizontal play. About the best part about this assembly is the 6-position tube and hardware. The stock itself in my opinion is junk. But in the event of a budget build or the desire to have a backup stock this is worth the money. Besides to buy the tube, buffer, spring, castle nut, and buttstock mount, you only end up paying a minimal amount for the stock. So it is what it is and you get what you pay for.

Someone said "It is also a 4 position not a 6". There are 6 positions, if you mount it too deep into thread, it will stop it from the shortest position. Try backing it a few turns out?Rattles a bit, but works well! I greased the detent holes for break in. Military manual says grease the thread with moly grease? So I did that too.

Nice looking stock, fast shipping, quality throughout. Yes it does rattle a bit, but it's a collapsing stock, and "will" make some rattle. DPMS makes fantastic items, and this is no exception.
