I purchased this so I could add a light to my 1300 Defender. This part is too long to fit this shotgun. I double checked to make sure I was sent the correct part. The SKU number matches up with the ProMag website. The recess that the bolt rails rest in does not extend far enough into the rail, making it impossible to thread the end nut onto the cylinder that holds everything in place. I lopped off about 1.5 inches with a hacksaw and was able to get it to fit. However, it is now very short. Also, the bottom rail is sized too small. I tried several picatinny accessories on it and all where loose. The two side rails seem to be within spec and my Insight light is snug on them. For the price I paid it was worth it to modify and see if I could get it to fit. Unfortunately I did this before I realized the bottom rail was mis-sized! I am going to break down and purchase a SureFire forend (in this case I think it is true that you get what you pay for!) I would not recommend this product to anyone.
