I purchased this VLTOR ...

I purchased this VLTOR IMOD stock for a LR 308 AP4 and would recommend it to anyone having a cheek weld issue. The improvement over the original stock is tremendous. Now cheek weld is instinctual instead of being a bobble head.

Not too heavy and a solid ...

Not too heavy and a solid butt stock. I combo'd this buttstock with the Vltor AK Receiver extension. I cannot believe how tight of a fit it is! I actually had to use some ballistol to get it to move without force. The cheek weld is amazing, I find it to be extremely comfortable. I have a beard and I do not find my hairs getting caught in the cheek weld.

Very high quality ...

Very high quality material, superior fit and finish. I am very impressed. Don't expect to store big items in the tubes but the enhanced cheek weld is more than worth it. I love mine.

I have two of these and ...

I have two of these and will be getting a 3rd. Hands down the best stock for an AR. Cheek weld is comfortable and the stock is snug on milspec tubes w/o any rattle.

This is what makes Midway ...

This is what makes Midway so great. I placed my order at 7:00PM on a Friday and at 8:30PM, I had a shipping confirmation email with tracking number. 1 1/2 hours on a Friday! As for the stock....I love this stock. Which is why I am getting my 2nd one. It has all of the features of the LMT SOPMOD and looks better IMO for under half the price. I did want to try the EMOD this time around but I am putting the stock on a 14.5" and wanted to lighten things up so the EMOD's weight wasn't going to work. Cheek weld is perfect on this stock and the tubes are great to store batteries for your flashlight or optic. Butt pad is great and has great traction against the shoulder. Get this stock....you won't regret it.

I bought the VLTOR IMod ...

I bought the VLTOR IMod Standard to take on my deployment to Afghanistan as an Infantryman. It was put on my issued M4 Carbine, and it took a huge beating during my 12 months there, and the durability was proven after totally abusing this stock on a daily basis.The cheek weld is outstanding, and on par with what an LMT SOPMOD stock would offer. There are complaints as to the "teeth" where the cheek welds attach to the stock, catching peoples beards, but it was not an issue to me, as I am active duty Army, and don't have a beard. If I had the $200 for an LMT SOPMOD, I would still purchase the VLTOR IMod Standard, as its $100 cheaper, and the batteries can be accessed without taking the stock off the rifle.I loved the stock so much, I bought another one for my LWRC M6A2 that I purchased upon coming back home from deployment.

Good Stock. FDE matches ...

Good Stock. FDE matches well with other accessories. Not a "perfect" match for MagPul, but about as close as you're going to get when switching between two vendors. Solid mount. Would buy again. Excellent service from Midway!

This is an Excellent ...

This is an Excellent product. It greatly improves the cheek weld on my DPMS AP4. There is also much less movement when extended than the factory stock. It also greatly improves the looks of a gun that is ugly by design. My only suggestion to either midway or vltor would be to include a quick release sling swivel.

Great gear!! Got the Flat ...

Great gear!! Got the Flat Dark Earth model in the commercial size. Really like the function of the stock. Fits a little snug on the DPMS Panther Arms commercial size buffer tube. I feel sure this will wear in. Other than the super snug fit, GREAT PRODUCT!!

The IMOD gives a great ...

The IMOD gives a great check weld along with storage. It also helps balance out a carbine without being too rear heavy (depending on rifle setup) as compared to the Emod in my opinion. Also being much cheaper than a LMT SOPMOD stock makes it a great buy.
