The Vltor SCAR Stock is a drop-in upgrade for the FNH SCAR series of rifles that incorporates the functional enhancements of Vltor's AR-15 Modstocks. The SCAR Stock is manufactured from durable polymer, features a negative-pitch rubber buttpad for more natural transitions from the ready to firing positions, and is equipped with a generously sized storage compartment behind the flip-down butt-plate with built-in recesses for a sectioned cleaning rod and sufficient room to carry batteries, spare parts, and/or cleaning supplies. Additional features include a set of quick detach sling swivel sockets and a metal reinforcement plate for impact resistance.

The SCAR Stock is a drop-in replacement for the original factory unit with no permanent alterations to the host rifle or gunsmithing required. The Vltor stock uses the same length of pull adjustment mechanism and operating procedures as the OEM stock, and maintains full side-folding functionality including the ability to fire the rifle with the stock in the folded position. Fits all models of the FNH SCAR, including semi-auto and select-fire variants, in either the Light and Heavy configuration.
