XS 24/7 Express sights allow for enhanced sight acquisition in all light conditions. The front sight features a Tritium dot outlined by a white line which enhances use in daylight. Standard Dot sights feature a smaller white outline than the Big Dot front sights. Makes a great upgrade from factory sights.

NOTE: Sight does not fit LCR 22 revolvers.

Used 1/16 dia x 1/4 L stainless split spring pins. Much sturdier than the XS supplied pin. 402 ss pin went in and now the sight looks great and I know it's done right.

I bought this sight for my LCR-357. I like the sight fine but unfortunately for me, installation was not the easy 3 minute job as described regarding this product. The roll pin that comes with the sight is extremely soft (as is the pin drive tool that comes with this sight as noted in another review). Even being very ginger with a small brass gunsmith hammer, I peened over the driving end of the pin in trying to get it through both sides of the installed sight. The sight is on, but looks a mess with a mushroomed pin. IMO, things would have to be pretty loose for the supplied pin to go in unscathed. My tolerances stacked up the wrong way and the soft pin left no margin for error. I'm waiting for a decent spring pin purchased from a machine supply store to arrive to replace the buggered one.

This sight defines the purpose of the Ruger LCR; I carry my LCR 357 whenever I go outside. The other night I went out to get a box of bullets from the shop. I was met by a stubborn ill willed boar coon. The sight helped me end the matter right quick. The sight worked very well. It wasn't too bright like some. That performance is what night defense shooting is all about. I was able to still make out the target and get a good sight picture too. With a bit of care I was able to install it as shown in the directions. The installation tool is a bit soft, but it only has to be used once. I am buying a second sight for my LCR 22 so I can use it in the barn on critters in there without all the racket of the 357.

I just had this replacement front sight attached to my Ruger lcr, and I like it. The big white dot (with tritium center) gives excellent aiming and contrast for day or night shooting as needed. Ruger should make this front sight standard for the lcr, since the factory sight system, as assembled, is kind of hard to use even in daylight. Buy it.
