Magpul's XTM Rail Panels are lightweight, 2-piece covers that may be easily snapped onto any section of Picatinny rail without the need to remove or rearrange existing accessories from their currently-mounted locations. The panels are constructed of durable, heat absorbing polymer to help protect the support hand from a hot barrel, and are reinforced in high stress areas to ensure the panels stay put during hard use. Installation involves snapping two halves together over a section of available Picatinny rail, and removal is accomplished with 2 bullet tips used to pry the 2 sides apart.

Each package includes 8 separate rail panel halves, creating 4 complete panels, enough to cover 1 side of a carbine length handguard (approximately 6-7" of rail space).
