Good concept, but the ...

Good concept, but the mentioned fitment problems keep me from getting this grip core or the bolt carrier grip core for my MagPul MOE+ grip. I'm waiting for a 2nd gen release to address the issues. Quick correction to a user comment: MagPul doesn't make a field stripping kit grip core - but Samson does, and it's well rated (http://www.midwayusa.com/find?userSearchQuery=samson+survivor+kit). There's several models. FS-002 is for MagPul, FS-001 is for USGI/Hogue grips & FS-003 is for Hogue AK grips.

CR123 Insert does not ...

CR123 Insert does not lock into place in Magpul MOE grip. Would hold in place until first shot, then immediately drop free. Maybe it will work in the MIAD grip; do not recommend for MOE grip.

I have all three MIAD ...

I have all three MIAD cores for my MOE Pistol Grip. The AA battery core works as it should but the CR123A and Bolt/Firing Pin cores do NOT click into the pistol grip and lock into place. I will probably have to shave off a bit of the latch on the core to get it to lock.

Great product! You never ...

Great product! You never know when your batteries will die. Having the extras with you and being able to quickly change them could save your life. The other modules offer different storage options such as firing pins storage or a cool field stripping tool kit. Thanks Magpul and Midway USA

This item has Magpul's typical high quality. It accommodates two CR123 batteries very well and has a rubber seal that will hopefully keep out moisture. This is a good way to keep extra batteries handy for your weapon light or optic.
