Product Information

The Magpul Original Equipment (MOE) carbine stocks are cost-effective, high quality replacements for standard factory M4 stocks. The MOE stock offers many of the features of a CTR in a more economical price. The stock has an A-frame design that increases strength, protects the adjustment lever, and streamlines its profile. The MOE will also accept the Magpul enhanced rubber buttpad, and cheek risers available separately. Molded from reinforced polymer, available in four colors and two buffer tube diameters.

The product is good. Slightly stiff while sliding in and out at first but has worked loose. Very little side play. No attachment point for sling swivel. Slim design gives an AR a different look. I seem to prefer the original look of the M4 style, but this product is a great option and welcome accessory. Thank you.

An ok stock if you are ...

An ok stock if you are wanting a new or custom look to your rifle, however, there is a lot of movement and wobble with this stock. It would be most wise to save a little more money and go with the Magpul CTR.

I currently have 2 MOE's ...

I currently have 2 MOE's and a CTR installed on various rifles and I'm waiting on the commercial diameter MOE to come back in stock so I can put it on my PTR32KFM. For the price and the quality of these buttstocks, you can't go wrong. Especially if you don't like the welt a standard M4 style stock will leave on your cheek. For those going back and forth on the MOE or CTR. I used the CTR on a Mossberg 590SP with the Mesa Tactical setup (all purchased from Midway, Love this place). I mainly went with it because of the massive amount of recoil a shotgun can produce. Probably not necessary, but that locking ring is an added piece of mind. Either way, you cannot lose by using Magpul and Midway for your rifle needs.

I ordered this for my most recent build and was suprised. It fits solid as a rock and is the only AR15 collapsible stock that I have seen that has had zero play when fitted over the buffer tube. I have become a Magpul fanatic in the past year or so. All of my AR15's have the Magpul MOE trigger guard and use Pmag magazines (20 and 30 round). One also has the MOE carbine forend grip with the MOE vertical grip and my most recent has this buttstock, rubberized MOE pistol grip and the MOE trigger guard. This company builds top notch stuff

I'm not a fan of collapsible stocks but I purchased this and I am very satisfied. It very well built and obviously American quality. If you are considering a new collapsible stock don't overlook this item.

Excellent stock for the ...

Excellent stock for the practical rifle, it is sturdy and reliable. Stock looks great and snag free, good if you carry it around everywhere. I now have it on two of my Ar-15s and on my Remington 870.

This buttstock looks GREAT on my Ruger SR.22 but, its a pain in the butt to get on! I did get the mil spec. that I needed but still a little to tight to get on. Maybe I need to break it in?
