Nosler's E-Tip lead-free bullet features the same polycarbonate tip found on the popular AccuBond and Ballistic Tip bullets prevents deformation in the magazine, boosts aerodynamic efficiency, and initiates expansion, a highly concentric gilding metal frame and a precisely formed boat-tail for reduced drag and more down range energy. Specially designed Energy Expansion Cavity allows for immediate and uniform expansion while retaining 95%+ weight for improved penetration. Patent pending alloy reduces fouling while providing superior accuracy and consistent performance. This is not loaded ammunition.

I used the E-tip on an elk hunt in Colorado and was very well pleased at the performance. I shot an elk at 300 yards and it dropped. The bullet completely penetrated both sides taking out both shoulders and lungs. The accuracy of these bullets is also good. I will use them again next season.

Not bad if youre a hunter who is happy with "close enough". Could not work up a load good enough to shoot under 1 inch at 100 yds. Used 2 rifles. Savage fluted bull barrel and a M-14. But Nosler does make a bullet in my opinion is the best ever for accuracy and kills. The 168 gr. ballistic tip.

Shoots well

To say these bullets shoot well is not saying much so I will explain what I mean. I had a 300Wby Vanguard SUBMOA which shot .6 - .75 inch groups from the factory (3 shot groups). I had trouble with groups after the barrel would heat up so I had the 24" factory barrel replaced with a 28" #8 contour Douglas. My groups are about the same with only a slight improvement at 100 yards. The difference shows up at the 300 plus yardage and when the barrel gets hot. I intended trying my hand at 1,000 yard competition this last fall. I started with my hunting bullets planning on switching over to a target bullet later but after the results I got I will stay with the E-Tips. The results from the last 5 outings at 1,000 yards were: I had 3 groups between 7-8" one at less and one at more but still under 10". The rifle is set up more like a varmint or tactical rig than a bench rest rig but I use it for everything. Because of the high velocity I get from it I don't use any other bullets on dear or elk in case I have a close up shot. For my set up this is a good all around bullet and I have no reason to switch. Its accurate, hits hard, does not destroy light deer and will penetrate the larger elk.

I worked up a load for my 30-378 Weatherby 180 grains. I got it shooting 3400fps with absolutely no pressure signs. I shoot one ragged hole at 100 yards. I hit a 2 liter bottle at 1000 every shot. Took 2 6x6 bull elk this year one at 300 yards one at 610. They never got out of their beds. A lot of blood. I also took a big muley buck at 750 yards one shot kill. Dropped in his tracks. Great bullet. Lots of blood. Breaks everything in its way. Haven't recovered one yet. All pass throughs with 50 cent piece exit. I will shoot these bullets for a while.

OUTSTANDING BULLET! Worked up faster loads but found best accuracy w/ my 300 Win Mag (Savage Mod 110, 1:9 twist) using H4350 @ 3096fps. Load precisely matched my Nikon BDC, giving 0.3" groups @ 100yds (sub-MOA out to 600 yds) & hits like a sledge hammer! Complete pass-through on a Muley, causing MASSIVE internal injuries, breaking the backbone (6" from bullet trajectory) & dropping in his tracks... at 643yds! Most ethical harvest any hunter could ask for, with very little external meat damage. Also left a review on the 90gr E-Tip, which produced the same results from my wifes .243 on a Whitetail @ 151yds... from a .243! Both E-Tips were very accurate, HARD hitting, creating quick/ethical kills w/ little external meat damage. What more could a hunter ask for? After seeing what 180g E-Tip can do (even at distance), Ill use it instead of my 200gr Partition load for Elk this fall. Since nothing in life is perfect... Potential CONS: E-Tips high Ballistic Coefficient comes at the cost of LONG bullet so powder is limited in smaller caliber cases. For that reason, the E-Tip performs best in faster twist barrels, only getting 1" groups @ 100yds in Win Mod 70 (30-06). Also small exit wound may lead to light blood trails. Nothing Ive hit w/ any E-Tip has run over 30yds, so probably not an issue. Over all best "hunting" bullet Ive found in 36yrs of hunting!

I purchased this product based upon its ballistic and stability characteristics required for the utmost accuracy in my Remington 700 30-06. Being new to reloading, I researched many of the reviews and forums concerning this bullet and after much frustration, I finally called Nosler. Pay attention to their recommendations for the load-up... After all, they designed the thing! Overall, I have achieved several 3-shot groups that I can cover with a quarter At 100 yds. Great potential! I will see how they work on Texas whitetails this season.

Purchased a box of these from Midway the week they came out. About two weeks before my hunt. Loaded 5 using my Nosler Partition recipe and shot one hole at 100 yards. VERY ACCURATE.

These bullets are well within the accuracy one would require for hunting. Though with the loads I used not quite as accurate as Barnes. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Great bullet! Jessica, my 12 year old daughter used it in my 30-338 to take a 800 pound cow buffalo at 50 yards. Total penetration, it entered left side chest through heart exited right front leg. Buffalo went 10 yards and it was down. Minimal meat damage. Great accuracy, .50 to .70 groups at 100 yards at 2950 fps. Thanks Nosler!

This Bullet groups around 3/4" In my 30-06 Ackley Improved. I used this bullet in South Africa this spring on several small animals but also Blue Wildebeest, Waterbuck and an 1800# Eland. All were one shot kills, but did not recover any bullets. The Wildebeest and Eland were facing me, but the skinners didn't dig enough to find any bullets. Bullets passed through the shoulders of the Waterbuck. It's a great bullet. I will be using it on Elk this fall. It's converted me from Barnes because of results and price.
