The Viridian C5L 5mW Green Laser with Flashlight is the world's only subcompact weapon mountable green laser with a built-in light. It is so tiny that it tucks neatly between trigger guard and muzzle, with no overhang, and will work not just with subcompacts but with virtually any railed gun. The light has an output of 100 lumens. Included with the laser are a CR2 battery, 3 unique rail sets, 1 rail set pin removal tool, 2 adjustment wrenches, 2 mounting screws, operator's manual and a demo DVD.

The cheesy plastic mount and Viridians unresponsive, uncaring customer support give it a very low rating. Too bad because I like the visibility and ease of access to the on button.

This is on a service weapon, in prolonged very cold conditions it tends to not work at all. That seems to be the case with most green lasers. When it is working it is amazing, just have to keep in mind that if you put this on a gun that stays outside a lot in winter your laser will not work or go into flash mode. Stunning on a shotgun however.

I have 2 of these one for my Glock 22 and 23,and Ive used it on my M&P9 holds zero just fine, eats batteries but what can you expect with a light and laser. Would buy another but the two I have work perfect.

It is awesome! I use this on my H&K P30, and it creates a combination that is fun to shoot. It holds zero and it was very easy to zero in -- it comes with a DVD that shows you how easy it is to do it -- just a few rounds. I plan to buy the larger model for my Ruger SR 556.

The brightness of the light and laser on this compact product is awesome. However, the product will not hold zero due to the plastic mounts. Do not buy this product.

I have this mounted on my Walther Pk380. As previous poster has mentioned it has plastic mounts, which do not give you that sense of durability; however I continued onward. Tightened the locking screw, and took it off to the range. Zero-ing this was very difficult, it took literately 50 rounds to get this even reasonably close to zero. However once it was there it didnt move. Its never been taken off my pistol and a couple hundred rounds later its still pretty much where it was zero-ed to. Laser and light work great, multiple settings pretty much cover any situation you might have. Battery life is good, but you will not be given any warning battery is low, it will be just as bright as when you turned it on to when it dies. Only glitch Ive seen so far: turned it on once and could not switch modes no matter what I tried. Eventually removed battery for a short time and replaced with same battery, normal operation from then on.To sum up it works well, the mounts are plastic and probably wont survive being dropped. However you can just get new mounts, the laser unit will probably survive.Oh and note: if your laser seems pixilated it probably means you need to clean the lens with a qtip.

I was really excited to ...

I was really excited to get my C5L and shoot it on my Sig P226 E2. Unfortunately it is unusable because it will not hold zero. I use a boresight to sight in my lasers and red dot sights so I was able to go to the range with the C5L sighted in pretty closely. Unfortunately after only a dozen shots it was no longer zeroed in. When I took it home and attached my boresight could see the C5L shifted a lot. I remounted it and retightened everything but it did the same thing the second time I shot it. I called Viridian Customer service but of course they didn't answer the phone and asked me to leave a message. They have not called me back. The aluminum housing is strong but the wimpy plastic mounts are not strong enought to hold the sight under recoil. When we buy mounts for our rifles we buy beefy mounts of steel or aluminum right?? Why would anyone think it would work well to mount a sight with plastic? The concept of a compact light with green laser is great, unfortunately the execution isn't good. I am afraid this company is better at marketing than they are at building quality products. Viridian, please do the right thing and create a fix for those of us who already spent three hundred bucks on a laser that doesn't work.
