The MI AK-47 Extended railed handguard is designed to fit most milled and stamped variants of the of the AK family. The handguard attaches around the barrel to provide a solid mounting platform. The upper portion of the handguard is attached to the lower handguard, instead of the gas tube to provide a solid platform to mount optics. The lower portion of the handguard is 9.5" long, extending past the standard handguard all the way to the gas block. The Handguard is constructed with 6061 hardcoat anodized aluminum, mil-spec 1913 rails with T-marks. Installation tools are provided. Installation requires the removal of the forward sling loop on the handguard retainer. Lifetime warranty, made in the USA.

    Wow, what a nice bit of ...

    Wow, what a nice bit of kit. The fit is very tight but that is what you want really. The anodizing is very hard too, I have beat the poop out of it over the last few months and its still great. I was unsure how the extended hand guard would look and the answer is GREAT.. I ordered a 2nd one in FE for the Draco and love it too.. A top quality product.
