The DoubleStar TI-7 Buttstock features an angled comb for improved cheekweld. This wider comb rides over two waterproof storage tubes that are capable of holding CR123/AA batteries or other small items. The fully enclosed toe line makes for a snag-free design.

The DoubleStar TI-7 also features two web sling attachment points as well as an ambidextrous QD swivel cup. The stock can easily be removed with a single hand although removal is not required to access the storage compartments. The TI-7's rounded toe is more forgiving of awkward shooting postions and the rubber-like buttpad provides a non-slip surface to help keep the stock in place.

After reading all the reviews, I sent back the $185. butstock I just did not like, and bought this one. Best thing I could have done, it's the best for me.

I've been using two of ...

I've been using two of these for about a year. This is one of the best AR15 stocks on the market. Design and function is comparable to or better than a SOPMOD, or anything from Magpul, in nearly all respects. Quality actually seems better than Magpul and VLTOR products, which are already top notch. The only, very minor, drawback is a bit of tilt on some buffer tubes, mostly when fully extended. Not ideal, but the rest of the features are nearly perfect.

This stock has many great ...

This stock has many great attributes that a standard stock doesn't have! To start it has a push button attachment point which is great for those who chose to upgrade their sling. I have been using it on an M4 while deployed and one of the greatest strong points is I can use it with my full kit without it slipping. Also, when you re aiming at an object from a higher position it has a perfect contour that keeps it in constant contact and allows the user to fire without having to bend at the waist and risk slipping down a mountain. The battery compartment has maintained its seal and the cheek weld is great.

This stock combines the good features of all the more expensive stocks on the market. Cheek weld is the most obvious awesome feature of this stock. It's as good as you think it's going to be! The main feature of this stock, which, IMHO, is better than any other offered, is the way the heel is rounded. When snapping up from a low-ready, and mounting the rifle in close to the centerline of your body, the soft heel of this stock is a godsend. It rolls up your chest & clavicle, as opposed to the way the standard M4 stock jabs and pokes. My Eo runs on AA's, so I put two in each storage tube, and add some foam earplugs until the tube doesn't rattle. haven't tried the QD point, because I don't use a two-point sling, but it does appear to have a steel insert. Going by everything else, I would guess it is G2G.

I could not be happier ...

I could not be happier with this stock. Just got back from first trip to the range where could compare directly with vltor mod, rock river operator, and magpul ctr....that were on buddies guns. The actual butt pad area that contacts your shoulder is more comfortable than and as stable and erconomic as any of the others. Closed design of stock far superior to open vltor that's just waiting for something to get snagged on. Cheek rest is as good as any of the others. Fit on tube is actually more snug than any of the others which leads to it also having the most solid feel during adjustment. Storage compartments and access to them also compares favorably. Quality of this seems second to none. ergonomics and comfort excellent. fit and function outstanding. One of the upgrades I am happiest with on my AR.

I couldn't have been more ...

I couldn't have been more pleased with this stock. It is smooth and snag free. The fit on the commercial tube was perfect. The butt is very comfortable and the taper of the toe portion is just right. The shape of the comb is optimal for using the A.C.O.G. producing excellent eye alignment. The battery storage containers are accessible without removing the stock. Overall it is very well made, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it was made in Lexington Kentucky, USA.

Great product. This was just what I was looking for. The green color matches the rest of the furniture on my AR perfectly. The QD mount works great and was a good plus. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that the fit on the tube could be tighter. Great price and product very impressed.

I ordered this buttstock ...

I ordered this buttstock for my CMMG piston AR. It took me all of 15 seconds to put it on. It fits like a glove and looks amazing. The cheek welds are smooth and perfect as well. I will be ordering another one as soon as I can. 5 stars for sure!!
