In my opinion this is a lot of rifle case for the money. Sure, I've seen better made cases but not for this price. The reason that Im sold on this one is because it is for my CZ Ultra Lux 22 LR that has nearly 29 inches of barrel. I needed a case long enough and this is the only case I could find that works. They come in 44, 48 and 52 inch. I had to get the 52 in. length. It has plenty of room for my scope that is about 12 in. long and a bit high mounted in order to clear the bolt. It has just the right amount of extra room. I consider it a perfect fit. I can not find anything about the case that I don't like. Im pleased to have found it, and glad that I bought it.

at first, i absolutely ...

at first, i absolutely loved this case. the padding is awesome, the case seemed to be very high quality. but after about 1 1/2 years, the zipper would not stay shut. it will zip shut just fine, but within 10 minutes, it just opens up, and will let the firearm drop out of the case. i was fortunate in that when it did fall out, it was on grass. otherwise who knows what damage would have occoured.

I have bought my share of ...

I have bought my share of gun cases and suffered my share of disappointments. This case is a real winner for the price. Fantastic padding (it will float when loaded), soft velour lining and a nice heavy nylon zipper that will not scratch stocks and barrels. I bought one, then a second, and am on here now to get a third. Just beware that this case's length runs short by at least 2 inches. A 40.5 inch scoped rifle could easily use a 44 inch case. My rule of thumb is to order a case that is 2 inches longer than the rifle anyway. This case takes that rule of thumb to 4 inches. I wish case manufacturers would give good, accurate dimensions. This is a very nice case!

This case is adequate - ...

This case is adequate - nothing special. Padding is thin and the case is flimsy and a big disappointment. Better to get the MidwayUSA Pro Series Scoped Rifle Gun Case. I will replace this Bulldog case with the MidwayUSA gun case.

This case may be the best kept secret around. Good soft padding, plenty of room but best of all, a great price. This case is easily worth three times the selling price. I just ordered two more.
