The PRI Gen III Carbon Fiber Free Float Tube Handguard is also available in a triangular (Delta) shape. The delta shape is more ergonomic and the flat bottom makes for a more stable platform when firing from off a rest. The PRI Gen III Delta configuration and was designed for compatibility with most piston conversion systems currently available. The Delta forearm uses the same easy locking system as the standard round tubes. The Delta handguard comes with 4 rails; an 8.5" rail on top and then 3 3" rails at 3,6 and 9 O'clock postions. The handguard is constructed of wrapped carbon fiber, with an aluminum barrel nut and collar. The clearance from the center line of the barrel to the underside of the forearm is 1.1".
