Product Information

These benchrest-quality barrels are made to impressive tolerances. The select match barrels are uniform to .0001" in all dimensions for the ultimate in accuracy. All match and select match barrels are air gauged on sensitive equipment, stress relieved and hand lapped at the factory. Shilen's barrels have probably set more world records than any other barrel made, because so many shooters rely on them. Barrels listed in contour #17 can be installed by a gunsmith to drop into any stock with a F54 barrel channel or a factory Remington heavy barrel channel. Select Match barrels are available in Stainless Steel only.

    Work Needed:
  • Requires threading to the action of your choice, crowning the barrel, and chambering by an experienced gunsmith
  • Chrome moly barrels are delivered in the white, and require application of the finish of your choice
