Made with #12 compressed shot, Glaser Blue Safety Slugs were designed for maximum stopping power. This ammunition produces immediate energy dispersal into the target with reduced penetration, penetrating 5" - 7" in lab testing. Each round is exceptionally accurate and has minimal ricochet. Glaser Safety Slugs are an excellent choice for personal protection in the home where over penetration may be a concern but ballistic performance is still important.

Tried these in my PPK and ...

Tried these in my PPK and out of 5 rounds got 2 misfeeds. The slide would not close all the way until I pushed it. No problems with other ammo. Defense ammo should work reliably; I'd rather not use this.

Glaser safety blue rounds ...

Glaser safety blue rounds have been around for a long time I kept my PPK/S loaded with them until I found the silver tipped with # 6 shot. I've never had a problem with either bullet. I only wish they hit as hard as the hydra-shok.

I am currently looking at ...

I am currently looking at one of these bullets that I had to manually force out of the barrel of my PPK backwards. Perhaps there wasnt any powder in the round and the primer pushed it this far, or perhaps not enough powder. Whatever the reason the bullet didnt make it very far. The only good piece of luck was that the bullet stopped short enough so that the next round could not be chambered. Had that happened the company would have had a lawsuit instead of just a bad review. Needless to say - I will NEVER use this ammo again!!!
