Four Stars, but with an ...

Four Stars, but with an exception. Mounted a couple of these on shotguns with wood furniture. Works great at adjusting height and padding to keep your cheek from taking a beating. Placed one on a shotgun with synthetic stock and it kept peeling up. I assumed the pad was bad. Removed, cleaned the stock well and applied another. Same issue. I have a sneaking suspicion that the gases emitted while a synthetic stock cures won't allow for proper adherence. Maybe I will try again after a couple of years. I wish this incompatibility with new synthetic was stated in the product description.

This product saved me ...

This product saved me from what I thought was a $900 dollar mistake. My shotgun used to smash me in the face and I couldn't resolve it even with shim adjustment, but this pad fit the stock perfectly to me. Shipping was reasonably fast as well.
