The Ruger BX-25 Magazine was designed from the ground up, in-house at the Ruger factory, for flawless function and reliability in any Ruger 10/22 rifle or carbine. A rugged polymer body and follower make the magazine capable of handling prolonged use and almost any environmental condition. The steel magazine feed lips are engineered to withstand thousands of rounds without significant wear, drastically reducing ammunition feeding-related malfunctions and solving a problem that has plagued increased-capacity 10/22 magazines since their inception. This thing works, it works just fine. The loading of the last round is as easy as the first. It never missed a beat with CCI Mini-Mags and Stingers. You can take this mag down to clean it in seconds, two Allen screws is all that holds it together. It is a very solid unit.

Judge is still out on these for me. I have 2 of them and they both started FTF on about the 3rd or forth loading. I took both apart and lubed one with Rem-oil and the other with dry graphite. Afterward both are functioning properly. Good that these can come apart so easy, bad that they don't come ready to feed thousands of rounds from the factory without you first needing to lube them.

Finally Ruger has made a high capacity magazine for the 10-22. This magazine works flawlessly. A lot of after market high capacity magazines for the 10-22 are poorly constructed and start to jam after just a few fill ups. This genuine Ruger holds up just fine. I have fired several bricks of ammo without a single malfunction.

The first three times you use it, it works great. Then the jams begin. I also read on the internet, everyone who doesn't like it says the same thing, "the first three times it is great, then look out". My next step will be to clean them and try again. That will probably work, but one should not have to clean a magazine after only three uses. I have three and that was three mistakes. I would not buy again.

Ruger made...25 round. Smooth feed, solid construction. Have pumped a couple hundred rounds through mine and yet to have a misfeed. Would be a GREAT stocking stuffer for Christmas.

probably the best 25 round mag out there for a 10/22. very easy to take apart and clean (if ever needed) and surprisingly simple inner workings. probably why they have such a good reputation!

I have owned several other brands hi cap 10-22 mags, some never worked , some worked occasionally , the Ruger BX-25 works all the time.
If you want a 10-22 hi cap mag, or two, buy the Ruger and never worry or look back.
This mag is just as reliable as the original 10 shot unit.
