This red dot was fun and ...

This red dot was fun and the small MOA of the dot is definitely what I was looking for. However, I put it on a Marlin 336 SS and it didn't hold the zero past one shot. I remounted it twice lapping the rings each time, thinking that it was just a bad fit at the rings. No better results. It just couldn't handle the recoil.

Small dot for hunting. ...

Small dot for hunting. Great in low light or distances over 50 yards. I mounted it on Super Redhawk with Ruger rings .44 mag and no problems from recoil. Hunted in 8 degree temp and it held up fine. Turned dot on and left on during the hunt with no battery trouble, no frosting over no bright sun-snow problems in the afternoon and at dusk turned down to # 4. Worked great.

Decent scope, really ...

Decent scope, really wanted this one because of dot size. Dot is not perfectly round but isn't too bad. Had an issue with scope and sent it back and received new one with quick turn. I am happy with second one.

A Good Scope for the ...

A Good Scope for the price. The 1.5 MOA dot is really nice for target shooting. It's mounted to a Ruger MK III .22 caliber pistol. I have a 3 MOA red dot and the difference is noticable. I also like the fact that you can adjust the dot intensity level. This is really handy for low light conditions where a brightly lit dot appears to be larger than it actually is.The aluminum rings that it comes with are not up to my quality standards. As a matter of fact, I stripped one of the rings and had to replace them. The rings kept this product from earning the fifth star in the rating system.
