Product Information

The ACE Ultra Lite buttstock is precision machined in the US from 6061-T6 aluminum for a light weight, yet rigid shooting platform. The stock provides for a 10.2" length of pull, and features a half inch rubber recoil pad to help minimize felt recoil. The soft, closed cell foam receiver extension tube cover allows for a comfortable and solid cheek weld. Attaches to any ACE modular receiver block or folding stock mechanism.

Typical ACE product, works great, built like a tank. I've NEVER had a problem or regret buying /using ACE stocks or stock components. Not exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for!

This is an excellent stock. It is not, however specifically made for an AR 15. It will not, in fact, actually work on an AR 15, despite being listed as being for them in the online catalog. It is for other rifles that use a modular stock block. Most of the parts are identical to the AR-UL kit by ACE. This kit includes: 1 receiver extension tube, also known as a buffer tube for an AR 15. 1 foam receiver extension tube cover. 1 clamp-on butt. 1 recoil pad. 1 modular receiver block adaptor. (the part that is useless on an AR style rifle) Assorted screws, washers and sling swivels. The one part that is NOT included in this kit that IS needed to make it work on an AR is the gusset. Midway does not currently carry this part, but it is available from ACE. At this point I am keeping the stock rather than returning it because it is still less expensive to get this and order the other part than it would be to order the whole kit from ACE. The quality is very good, just like on other ACE stocks.

Don't be a fool like me. It doesn't mention it on the information, but this weapon DOES NOT come with the buffer tube, buffer, or spring. I installed it on my AK, so I didn't need a buffer or spring, but I was assuming it came with the buffer tube. Wrong answer. Well, I went to a local gun dealer, dropped 20 on a brand new A2 buffer tube, installed it, and I love it. It's a perfect length for me, it's super light weight, and it looks sick. Be advised for your AR: the foam overlay may rub your charging handle, use a water based lubricant to get the foam on (it wasn't fun), and have fun. This is a great stock!

Bought this for an AK. Installed it with a UTG AR 4/15 stock adapter. It's very comfortable to shoot with, lightweight, and handles 7.62 just fine.
