Bought these for my wife's Revolver, They don't take up as much pocket space as a round speed loader. They're easy to load and also easy to use.

I've been carry a small revolver for the past few summers and had settled on only five shots. Tried carrying a speed loader, just way to bulky. Then a coworker showed me one of these speed strips. Not as fast a speed loader, but faster then lose rounds. If I have my LCR this is in my back pocket.

Works well when other speedloaders interfere with the grip I have 4 and plan on buying more. Only problem I had was sitting down with two in my back pocket and ended up with a dented 357 case.

Fits nicely in side pocket of Blackie Collins' Toter Jeans and great for 'topping-off' S&W Bodyguard revolvers if only a few rounds are fired, where as speed loaders require all five rounds being fired.

I'm a fan of the speed strips. it allows me to organize my ammo for my revolver when my guns in storage, and doubles as a quick reload when I'm packing. These take up less space than a speedloader and carrying four allows me to have at hand the entire 20 round box of self defense ammo without lugging the box. Great product.

Best way to carry spare ...

Best way to carry spare ammo for a revolver without the bulk of a speedloader. It's almost as fast and two rounds can be stripped off at a time. The newer ones are made of a vinyl material and softer than the older models constructed of a stiffer rubber compound, so they're more durable but don't hold the rounds as securely. If you have some of the older strips, treat them with Armor-All to prolong their life. It would be nice if Speed Strips were made for the .44 Magnum too.

Very durable. Holds rounds tight but not to tight that their imposible to remove. Much more compact and easier to carry and conceal than round speed loaders. Excellent product.

Bianchis Speed Strips are an extremely effective way to carry your backup. They are not quite as fast as a speedloader (almost as fast with practice) but they are much easier to carry due to their flat profile. One important note: I would only recommend carrying 5 rounds in a Speed Strip. Keep the first spot next to the grip tab empty in order to facilitate a sure grip on the Strip for rapid loading in a stress situation.
