Genuine Buffalo horn buttplates feature a dark brown to black coloring with light and dark streaks They are contoured, partially finished and slightly oversize so that a perfect fit may be obtained. Solid steel and skeleton buttplates are precision machined with a slight taper from solid stock, counterbored for mounting screws (included) and are ready for final finishing. Buffalo horn buttplates do not include screws.
