Review pertains to G23

My mag loader - which I'm pretty certain comes with all new firearms - does not allow me to push the next round in far enough. This means as I let the loader go and try to force in the round, it slides away from the mag lips. I'm sure there are better loaders out there, but maybe it's just mine.

I've loaded over 3000 rounds in my 9mm pistol. When I bought the PW Arms 33rd magazines I decided I needed something to relieve the pain of reloading. This little gem works wonders. For the price this is a great choice.

This has to be one of the best values on the firearms market today - simple, indestructible, efficient and inexpensive. I have real trouble loading the last few 9mm rounds in my Glock 19 mag without this. When my S&W M&P 40 came without one, I tried this on the 15 round .40 S&W mag and it worked like a champ. Bought an extra so I can keep one with each pistol.

I have a G20 with 15 round mags, and this loader helps alot. It takes a minute to get used to using, but after about the first 2 mag reloads was easy to get it down. Helps to use the next round you are loading to push in on the last one you did.

Glock brand but I use it on my Sig p229 40 mags. Works great, saves my thumb and only cost a couple bucks.

Loader is slick and hard ...

Loader is slick and hard to hold, much less attempt to overcome the force of my NEW .40 model 27 magazine spring; five rounds was all I could manage to install in the 9 round magazine. A "palm" flange would be of great assist, or even a tight fitted or bonded rubber sleeve might help.

I've loaded over 2,000 rounds with this mag loader and it still looks and works like new. Glock does not use cheap plastic and these things, like Glock pistols, are hard to break. There isn't any mechanical advantage like some of the more complicated mag loaders with a lever arm depressed by the thumb, but there is enough area on the outside of the mag loader for a solid grip that allows almost the entire hand to be used to depress the last round to make room for the next round. It's real thumb saver. I shoot a Kel-Tec SUB-2000 folding 9mm carbine, and it runs through 33 round Glock mags in a hurry. I'd be hurtin' for certain without a mag loader. For a very low price, this mag loader gets the job done in a hurry and with no moving parts there isn't much to break. It's a simple but clever design.

Cheap, simple, weatherproof, durable, lightweight... What more can you want? I've loaded many thousands of rounds of .40 in Glock 22 magazines with one of these, and also used it for many thousands of rounds of 9mm in Beretta M92FS/M9 magazines.

After loading about 200 rd, the center post of the loader has a bent corner. I'm not sure how much of this the loader can take.
