Steel in the white. Requires fitting and installation by a qualified gunsmith. Springs have been prepped and matched at the factory.

THis is a great product! I only had to file a little down on the back of the sear and had to open up the hammer strut hole on the hammer to fit original diameter. Other than that no modifications needed.

Love these kits, Installed one last weekend on a friend's taurus and converted to a 70 series, 4 1/2 lbs exact with no tuning of the spring. Match it up with a C&S Trigger and Ed Brown safetys and you will have a fine set up on any 1911.

C&S builds quality parts. Fit and finish is top notch. I installed the stainless version of these parts on my springfield loaded along with a new hammer strut and pin and now my 1911 has a crisp and safe trigger pull. I highly recommend this kit... just make sure and get a new strut and pin to complete the installation (otherwise, you will have to punch or press to take these parts off your old hammer) be prepared to do some minor fitting... but if you are experienced enough to detail strip a 1911 you can certainly install these parts yourself.

Parts dropped into Springfield Range Officer, requiring slight fitting to thumb safety. Trigger pull is consistent 3.7 lbs... Very happy with this purchase!

It produced a great, crisp 4.5 lb trigger pull. It is far from a drop in installation. Hammer did not clear the stock grip safety. Thumb safety had to be refit fit, which was no problem. This was on a Springfield Loaded. I would still buy another set again for the fact the trigger pull is sweet and all parts are made from a good quality tool steel.

High quality parts that are pre-matched well. Very light stoning needed to produce a very crisp trigger pull that came in under 4.5 lbs. I would recommend this product.

This product is great! The trigger pull is smooth now, with a crisp break. Being my first mod on a firearm, it was quite simple. No fitting needed, however, I seem to remember needing to swap out the original factory grip safety to allow the slide to pass over the hammer when cycling (this was a SA 1911 Mil-Spec). Trigger was also swapped out at this time. Well worth the investment!

hammer should be chamfered but the sear and disconector was great. Ended up using a Ed Brown hammer. C&S make make good parts
