Just what it's supposed to be.

I've been using these ammo boxes (4) for a couple of years now. Other that scuffed up Sharpie Marker all over the top they're good as new.
I use them to hold my 56-50 Spencer bullets.
It's my favorite gun to shoot so them have had a bunch of use. By all rights they should be worn out but the only place that shows much wear is the top where I use a scuff pad to clean off the marker with my load dates.

These boxes fit loaded rounds nicely and the latches stay closed. The one thing I just Do Not like about these particular boxes is the number of rounds it holds, I just don't find 64 to be a very useful number! I mean bullets come in boxes of 50, brass comes in lots of either 50 or 100 etc. So anyway you look at it the 64 round count is just not really user friendly. Other than that though these are good boxes that hold .50A&E rounds nicelyRemMax
