This sight does not hold zero when switching from one reticle to another. After using this sight two times on a Remington 597, 1,500 rounds, the reticles showed as double.This is due to the manner of how it is manufactured and how sight adjustments are made. Screws with springs move the plate that the diode is attached to up and down. The plate is loose other than the pressure from the screws, any bumping will move the zero.The reticles are superior to other manufacturer, but yet still too big for accurate shooting at distances over 50 yards. This sight is basically a toy.I had to send back 3 different reflex sights by different manufactures until I found the one that works as advertised. Two of the three sent back were of the same basic design as this sight. Any sight that uses the same configuration as this sight, will have the same problems, inherent in the design. The ATN Digital Ultra Reflex Site is the only sight I ordered that actually does what they advertise.I have to thank Midway since I sent back 3 defective sights from different manufactures before getting the one that works. Midway never complained and did exactly what they said they would do.With the kind of service Midway provides, think twice about ordering a sight from anyone else.

Good product at price point. Holds zero well as long as I do not change dot configuration. I have selected a dot and use it exclusively. Rheostat could use more positive clicks, it is too easy to move off contact. When adjusting point of aim, I find I need to make adjustment and LOCK it before making test shots.

Returned it to the manufacturer/distributor after 2 range trips. Mine WILL NOT hold zero, routinely jumps 3-4 FEET to the lower right (4 o'clock)This is with it mounted on a mild recoiling AR-15. When I get the replacement for it back, I doubt I'll trust the new one.

When I purchased this sight, I was handicapped due to the lack of technical information and reviews listed. I was interested in this sight for my Walther P22 because I wanted to keep manufacturer continuity. So I did some remedial research and purchased from Midway due to my many pleasant purchasing experiences. Once again the people at Midway came through with flying colors!First of all, if you are purchasing a $50 sight you shouldnt expect the same performance as a C-More or an EOtech at ten times the price. I give this sight five stars because, for the money spent, it more than lives up to my expectations. Unlike many other less expensive sights, the Walther is constructed from metal, not polymer. You have the choice of four different reticles; a small dot, a large dot, a circle with cross hairs and a tactical with dot. The scope also features seven different illumination settings. I was very surprised at the crispness of the sight picture at the lower illumination settings. However, anything above starts to feather around the edges. Again, remember what youre spending. The windage and elevation adjustments give a slight but perceptible click unlike some similarly priced sights and, unlike many other less expensive multi-reticle sights, you dont have to re-zero every time you switch to a different reticle. The only minor annoyance that Ive encountered is the placement of the illumination knob. I have to be careful not to smudge the optics lens with my fat fingers when changing the brightness setting. All in all, I highly recommend this sight as an affordable alternative for those shooters on a budget.

Mounted it on a Ruger ...

Mounted it on a Ruger Mark 1 and on the first trip to the range, I could shoot 5 shots in 5 different spots. Dot jumps from place to place on recoil. Will not hold zero so I am returning for refund or replacement. Would prefer refund to try another brand or model.

Ok for the price. The body is painted not anodized like others. Also not made by walther. Top and bottom pieces do not match.
