Product Information

Turner Saddlery leather slings are constructed of high-quality leather to avoid stretching and deformation. These modern day versions of the M1907 sling are ideal for the service rifle competitor and the tactical shooter alike. Many of America's finest riflemen use these slings on their rifles. They feature heavy duty leather keepers and parkerized steel hardware to ensure their durability. The adjustment holes are numbered which allows you to quickly and easily adjust your sling for the various shooting positions. This particular line of slings commemorates one of America's finest riflemen. Gunnery Sergeant Carlos Hathcock, USMC was well known around the world as an outstanding competitive shooter and one of the most successful snipers in military history. These slings are stamped with Hathcock's legendary "White Feather" logo and Turner Saddlery donates a portion of the proceeds from these slings to the Hathcock Estate.

Top notch quality. It was ...

Top notch quality. It was a little stiff out of the package, but with a little treatment it will loosen right up. I put it on a Remington 700 Police in a 338 Lapua with a 26 inch barrel. I bought the 54 inch and it was slightly too large, but it will still work just as intended. A 52 inch would fit perfectly.

Honestly, all I had used in the past were GI web slings, but after reading about the Turner Saddlery slings, I ordered one. I was not disappointed. The leather is first rate, thick and nicely finished on all sides. The metal hardware is heavy duty, with what looks like a GI finish. The stitching is robust, and looks like it should last for many years. The keepers are thick and well stitched. Great sling.

This is a excellent rifle sling. The leather is good. The construction is great. I have used several slings in service rifle competition and I truely like the way this sling stays tight in all shooting positions.

This is a very nice 1907 ...

This is a very nice 1907 style leather sling. Very well made, great stitching, good quality leather. Will last a lifetime. I prefer a slightly thicker/heavier leather though (and heavier stitching/hardware too); only slightly -- personal preference. But this will definitely last. A good buy.

I originally intended to ...

I originally intended to purchase the standard Turner Saddlery leather sling. Since they were back ordered at the time, and I didn't feel like waiting, I spent extra and bought this one. It is exactly the same as the standard TS sling, except for the Carlos Hathcock signature and white feather logo. I installed the sling on my RRA NM, and I am quite happy with it. It is a vast improvement over the less expensive sling I previously had on that rifle. The leather is top quality, and I like the numbered holes. I also like the fact that when I "sling-up" it doesn't stretch. The fact that a portion of the purchase price went to the Gunny's estate also seems like a nice way to honor his memory.
