So Nice To Have More

I have three of these extra turrets now, and considering getting a fourth. It's so nice to not have to change out, and re-adjust your dies. The quick-change nature of the single bolt design is strong and easy. Turrets can be changed in 30 seconds. I also keep an 8mm hex wrench on my bench to change them out. Tip: Rather than buy the pricier hex wrench, I just use a simple "L" shaped allen wrench, use the long stem to clear the die height, and slip any old box-end wrench over the short stem for leverage to tighten. If you can swallow the price, these extra turrets are great to have!

I have the T-7 press and two extra turrets. I like the turrets because it allows me to organize dies by various calibers. I load 223, 22-250, 257 Wby, 270, 300 Wby, 300 RUM, and 375 H&H. I purchased an 8mm T-handle hex wrench to change out the turrets. The initial investment may be twice that of a single stage press but the performance and convenience cannot be beat.

The T-7 is one fine press. One of the benefits is a changeable turret. I have three. It's great having all your dies out ready to go. Things to consider is you will need a storage stand for the turrets not in use. The dies stick out the bottom of the turret so it won't lie flat. Secondly, I have a dedicated socket wrench with a hex socket for changing out the turrets. When changing out the turret there is a steel ball bearing that sits on a spring that fits in the press. It's function is to index the turret to the press. Be careful, the steel ball bearing is loose and if it rolls off and hits a concrete floor, it is a booger to find it!!! Don't ask.

I agree with above, its the best Press going! Fast and easy to set up and use. But they could ' adjust ' the spent primer catch system a little, it'll lose one every now and then but no big deal.Wish I'd have got one years ago!

This is one great Press! Very, very strong and very smooth to use. Makes a regular single stage press a thing of the past. Buy extra turret heads. Your gonna want them! Hands down the best press I ever bought!

This is a well made, totally functional tool; my only gripe is the lack of directions on changing turrets - looks simple but the Allen head is hard enough to turn to make you wonder if you are doing the right thing. Also, it will be worth getting a straight, long Allen wrench that you can use a socket wrench to get some torque on the screw without bumping your dies with a short Allen wrench (and to avoid having to take out any dies to change turret heads).

I have used my T-7 press for about 1 year and I love it. I purchased an extra turret so that I would not need to change the dies as I reload for different ammo. This turret is very easy to change and is very, very stable. AAA+
