Berger's Target Bullets are the perfect answer for those longer shots. The Long Range bullets were designed for long distance competitive target shooters. These bullets features extra-long tangent ogives giving them the advantage of having both a high BC and being easier to tune to the rifle when compared to a bullet with a secant ogive. Target bullets were primarily designed for target shooting but they are also effective on larger varmints.

The Juggernaut is a great option for the long range shooter looking to find a great balance between weight and ballistic coefficient. Even though it will not be able to be pushed as fast as a similar 175 grain bullet the ballistic coefficient of this bullet will help it retain more velocity which is a critical factor in long range applications.

This is without a doubt ...

This is without a doubt the best bullet available for shooting F/TR class competition. I've used this bullet to set several NRA national records. Berger's quality control is outstanding. Bullets are extremely consistent on weight and measurements. Try them and you wont be disappointed.

This bullet set a record ...

This bullet set a record 100 yard group the first time I took it to the range. Granted that doesn't matter to me much since I shoot F/TR. When I shot in changing winds at 800 900 and a 1000 I scored a 424 out of 450. This wasn't the bullets fault at all. It is a straight shooting, very forgiving and predictable bullet. Especially at a grand. I definitely recommend trying this bullet with the same loads that have been worked up with the 185 vlds. That is what I did with great results. I did load this bullet touching the lands. The BC is higher than the 185 vld also.
