Very nice ammo. I used this in a Marlin from the 70's (cheap plinker) this was never an accurate gun but I just tried several types of ammo and after shooting even some $7.00 stuff this out shot all other brands. My group went from a best of 2 inches to under an inch for 18 rnds at 50 yds. This was very impressive and even more so when you consider the cost. I cannot speak to what a custom 22 would do but I will test it soon in a 10/22 custom I am building. For now, I can say anyone with a 22 SHOULD try this ammo, I think they will be very happy.

Bought a brick of this to try in my 10/22 Target model. One of the first rounds from the first box was badly dented. Only time I have seen a dented .22 shell in over fifty years of shooting! Otherwise, I fired three boxes with no problems.

This is a great round. I shoot this and CCI mini mag 40 grain in all my 22s. I've always had excellent accuracy with both. Maybe just a little better with the Aguila. It does have a odd odor but not bad.

I have shot over 2000 rounds of this 40 gr round nose. It runs extremely well in Bersa, Colt Woodsman, and Ruger Mark III & IV pistols as well as Marlin, Savage and Ruger rifles.

I have found it to be accurate and reliable in everything I put it through.

Consistent and accurate. Smells worse than anything else I have ever shot, but it's not perfume, it's ammunition. Good "higher" velocity target ammo.

I recently tested 24 types of 22LR ammo in my Savage Mark II TR fitted with a fixed 10x scope. Among the ammo was just about every variation of velocity and bullet type available for the 22LR. The only stipulation was that the ammo had to cost less than $10 per 50-rounds. To my surprise, this was the ammo that performed best, averaging 0.65" for 5-shot groups and 0.7" for 10-shot groups at 50yds. I also tested the SuperExtra 38gr HP version of this ammo as well as the standard velocity SuperExtra 40gr, neither of which performed nearly as well as the high velocity 40gr Round Nose. However, I did have one misfire with this ammo, which was the only one out of hundreds of rounds fired. I still give it 5 stars though, as sometimes misfires just happen with 22LR ammo.

This is very good ammunition, I have been using it exclusively in my S&W M&P 15-22 after testing many different brands and types of ammo (which all work well in the 15-22) I decided to go with this ammunition for its quality, reliability and price point. I have shot well over 500 rounds of this particular ammo and have had only two failure to feed issues (two in a row) which I believe was an error on my part when loading the magazine. Other than those two issues this ammo has run 100 percent perfect, I would recommend this to any one that has an S&W M&P 15-22.

I used this in my Marlin 60 with no scope and was able to pick off whistle pigs as far as 90(sometimes more)yards. Out of 1000 rounds maybe 1 round was a dud. Its very accurate, and burns pretty clean. I will definitely be using this again.

Using a Marlin 795 with a 3-9x32 scope set at 4x, I shot a 5 round 1-1/2" group at a measured 100 yards. The group would have been 3/4" if I had not pulled one shot off to the right. 3 shots were clover-leafed. No functional failures with the entire box.

The slight jacketing ...

The slight jacketing feeds great in my Ruger MK III. They are accurate enough to hit SPENT 12 GA shotgun shells @ 20 YD. For 22 ammo it burns fairly clean. I will defiantly buy more when available.

This is very good consistent plinking ammo. Very accurate at 50 and 60 yards. Haven't used it yet for hunting but expect that the 40gr bullet will take care of business.
