This is the most accurate inexpensive ammo I've tried in my 10/22 or my Smith & Wesson Model 18. Target ammo that costs a good deal more will outshoot it, but for the price- which is only slightly greater than discount-store bulk packs- nothing else will touch it. Only two things hold me back from a 5-star rating: first, it wouldn't consistently cycle the action of a Ruger 22/45 I tried it in, and second, it tends to be smoky and dirty like other Aguila ammo.

I regularly shoot 22 cal competition and have foung Aguila super extra 22 cal ammo acceptable and economical, however, It tends to be soft for a rimfire 22 ammo. It does function in my Hammerli 280 pistol

I would like to like it ...

I would like to like it but in my Hammerli 208 I was getting fail to feeds, fail to ejects and fail to fires. When I test chambered the rounds only 1 in 5 would go in with encouragement. Most wouldn't even go halfway. I checked the rounds with calipers and found them to be .2255-.2265. I tried the Ely Sport I had and it chambered easily and was .2245-.2250. If you have a euro gun it would behoove you to check what is working for you first. Hope that helps someone.

I recently tested 13 different types of .22 LR in a Ruger 77/22 and Winchester 62A. While there were some impressive brands, Aguila SuperExtra slaughtered the competition. With three 5-shot groups of less than 1/2" at 50 yards, shooting exactly to point-of-aim, I will be ordering much more of this.

I have a Colt Woodsman ...

I have a Colt Woodsman Match Target that cycles more dependably with this ammunition than any other. Ignition is more consistent as well. Accuracy is very good, and fouling is acceptable. I love it!

I use this ammo with a CMMG conversion kit for my 556 and a Yankee hill suppressor. It consistently fires two round bursts and cycles flawlessly.

I have run over 1000 ...

I have run over 1000 rounds of this and am really impressed with its accuracy reliability. I shoot a Kimber 8200, Anschutz 64 and Smith & Wesson M41 and this Aguila shoots groups as well as Wolf at less money per box. It also functions in my 10/22 HB. It does have a funky smell that I'm growing fond of?!?

I used this ammo in my Smith and Wesson 22A target pistol. I found it to be very accurate and consistent. Also I found that in my pistol it had less recoil allowing for better accuracy.

Good solid performance. I bought a brick of this as part of a "variety pack" of ammo to use in testing various .22 rifles to find out the brand/rifle preference. So far none of the 3 rifles tested have preferred this ammo, but it has been a solid middle of the pack performer. Reasonable accuracy, consistent ignition, reasonable price.

This ammo is now Eley primed. I have an old 1966 Browning T-Bolt that absolutely loves this stuff. A lot cheaper to shoot than wolf and just as accurate. Not lubricated as much as wolf either.
