I think this is a fine ...

I think this is a fine video on handgun hunting, J.D. Jones and Hal Swiggett talk and show hunting handguns and there are some exotic hunts shown, I enjoyed it. If you're a handgun hunter I think you'll enjoy it.

I'm a beginner handgun ...

I'm a beginner handgun shooter and what I saw was either obsolete, misleading or null of sportsmanship. It is mostly a sales video for Mag-na-port. All "hunting" is done in on western flat or rolling plain, in tan grazing grass. In mid-day, drive, guide, cameraman and hunter drive to where they see the animals [5 of 6 hunts are grazing exotic goat, sheep, antelope or deer - all small compared to our whitetails]. The guide walks all of them to sit here and shoot that. Hunters are in blue jeans, short sleeve shirts [one hunter in a pastel blue golf vest-really!], and one with a glaring gold watch and band. Not one hunter wore camo. The only boar that was shot at was only "grazed" [the biggest target] and never pursued. You do not need the promoted 1987 customize T/C contender hand canon to kill NA game. The factory T/C G2 contender hangun of today is excellent and fully capable off the shelf. Ammo has also changed. Today, young hunters in Texas, with a single shot .223 Rem. and "Extreme Shock" fragmenting ammo are doing more that what those "hunters" did. There is not one word or video frame on marksmanship, hunting stances or technique, advantages & disadvantages, or, where, when and how of using a hangun for hunting. As I said its just a sales video. Also, the quality of the audio and video is poor.
