Will attach to RCBS case trimmers and includes the cutter and caliber specific pilots.

This thing is great!! Should have been included with the RCBS Trim-Pro in my opinion. No more manually chamfering and deburring cases with this tool. FYI, you only need to buy one trimmer 3-Way cutter in one of your calibers, then buy the cutter pilots in the other calibers and you can change it over. The instructions on how to set the chamfer depth was a bit confusing. First loosen the set screw in the side of the cutter pilot. Hold a finger against the pilot and adjust the chamfer depth with the little screw which is up inside the hollow in the back of the trimmer head. Then retighten the set screw.

I started years ago with a Wilson, and there's still some things I love about that old machine....BUT....after bi-lateral carpal tunnel release, I bought the Trim Pro manual trimmer, then the three-way cutter head for each of the calibers I load for. When I load, it's usually at least 500 rounds, and this little gem cuts SO much time out of the process, it's worth every cent. I recently converted to the power converter for this one, and that just makes it ever so much nicer yet.....

By far the best solution I've used to trim brass!!! It used to be a big pain to trim/chamfer/de-burr, but now with the Power Trim-mate and this 3-way trimmer, I can do about 8 cases per minute with NO sore fingers!!!

I have to start buy saying that I normally don't use case trimmers, I use trim Dies. I bought an expensive micrometer adjust case trimmer, TIN coated cuter was dull, didn't cut and the pilots were a very poor fit, was ruining my brass! Haven't used it since I bought it three years ago! Bought a Ruger .375, no one makes a trim die yet so I thought I would try it again. Bought this 3 way cutter, it threaded right into that trimmer and turned it into an excellent working tool!Before installing the cutter, I held it up to the light and set the pilot. For my purpose, I'm only chamfering about .001 on the inside. I slipped a case over the pilot and adjusted the out side cutter snug against the case mouth, locked it down. Unlike my old trimmer pilots that were very long and crude, the 3 way pilots are more of a round ball shape with some what of a driving band. They fit very snug and precise but have much less drag and no galling! After trimming I noticed a thin, maybe 1/16 ring inside the case neck from the pilot. Someone at RCBS was really thinking! The cutters are very sharp! Trimming was fast, clean and accurate! Cant say its better than a trim die but, it's easier, cleaner and faster. Also the chamfer is cut is vastly superior to anything hand held and is done at the same time! I liked it so much I ordered more pilots and just got done doing a batch of brass that I already had a trim die for. Excellent tool! Really enjoyed using it!

This takes a little time to set up. You may need to adjust the trimmer head so that the inside and outside deburring does not cut too deeply. But once this is set up it trims to length accurately, and leaves the inside and outside edge of the neck slightly beveled and smooth for reloading. It does save hours of time when you trim a lot of brass because it removes the deburring step. I have processed over 1000 rounds of .223 and am buying the .30 caliber trimmer because the .223 worked so well.

If youre like me and others who load in bulk this tool is for you. As mentioned it trims, reams, and chamfers in one step. When you pull the case out it is ready to load. When doing 100 - 500 cases the time and energy, you save can be productively used elsewhere. Just wished they made them for pistol and revolver calibers.
