Had the scope about a year mounted on a 444 Marlin. Everything was great until turning the magnification ring the crosshairs started rotating with the turning of the ring. Not a good situation. Would not recommend this product.

I would have given this scope a higher rating if I had done this review three months ago. I had the scope on an AR15 for four months and was really impressed with it. It was clear, held good zero, the problem happened when shooting it at the range. Three shots into a five shot group the scope went blurry you could not see through it. On closer inspection the front lens had come loose and fallen over inside the tube. Would not recommend to anyone.

I like the fit and finish. The optics are clear and bright and the controls seem to work alright. I have shot about 300 rounds of 223 with it so far. I am getting good groups at 25 to 100 yards but for my old eyes I would like more magnification for 200 and beyond. Good value purchase.

The features are good for the price point, however, there seemed to be a dirty film on the inside of the elements.I have a $65 scope that was clearer and brighter.

I purchased this scope to use on a 6.5X55 Mauser chambered small ring Spanish Mauser action with an Adams and Bennet barrel that I'm building for my wife. I am very impressed with this scope, the fit and finish are excellent, the optics are extremely clear and bright, and the eye relief is very generous. At lower settings target acquisition is immediate, you can use both eyes and you have a large field of view. I would like to see the turret caps made of metal instead of plastic; however the plastic caps seem to be substantial and secure. I plan on using this same scope on a .338 Winchester Magnum that I'm building on a 98/09 Argentine Mauser action I recently acquired. For the price it would be hard to beat this scope for value!!

The optics on this Barska 30mm scope are excellent. Clear and bright. Everything works as it should. I recommend Warne Maxima rings and base. They are a little bit more expensive than Leupold's but they will be there until the gun wears out. The scope is that strong, to.

An excellent scope for my DPMS flat top carbine. Clear, bright, and priced right. The lower magnification is good for scanning the area and the higher magnification is good for more precise work. The size is another excellent point.

Nice fit and finish, focus and zoom is smooth. Mounted on CZ 452 ZKM FS with CZ rings also from Midway. Bright and clear and looks classic. Comes with see through Weaver rings which I could use on later project.
