This stand has some slop, ...

This stand has some slop, but the individual components feel sturdy. Does not accommodate over-sized stocks very well. The stands also tend to slide on the poles at inconvenient times. Rubber grip works well, but doesn't get very slick from oil. Good price and has worked for a year. I like that it holds the cleaning rods too.

This is an excellent ...

This is an excellent cradle. The price is right too! When you cradle your rifle with the bore down, it makes for an excellent cradle for cleaning. You can mount your rifle with the bore parallel to the bench top for general gun maintenance and care. You can also readily take the thing apart for real easy storage. I bought this cradle from MidwayUSA and it will definitely last for a long time. Plus, the rapid service from MidwayUSA is good too!

I was unsure about this ...

I was unsure about this product. But, I mounted 2 scopes on 2 rifles and they didn't move at all during the work. I shook it around a bit with the inexpensive .22 on it and she was solid. It dis-assembles quick and fits in my range box. I use a Stanley: tall, rolling tool box so there is plenty of room and it's compact size makes it nice to have with you, which allows room for other accessories.

You just cant beat this ...

You just cant beat this Maintenance Center. I just got this a few days ago and used it for the first time today and it works great. The cradles that the gun sits in virtually grip the gun in place as well as the pads it sits on making it very stable and secure to work on. I strongly recommend this unit to anybody.

Just recieved this in the mail today. Holds my 7 mag perfectly.The best part in my opinion is its simplicity in design and construction.It is made of plastic, however, has a durable feel. Well made.Best part is that you can disassemble the whole thing for compact storage. Also, it is adjustable, I figure practically any size gun from .17 cal to as big as you have would fit perfectly.
