The Hogue free float tube ...

The Hogue free float tube is a must for any AR-15. Its sturdy and can take a beating. Because of its rubber coating weapon retention is high in any weather or temperature. Installation is easy and if needed there are installation instructions on The YHM website for free float tubes. Make sure the muzzle device on your barrel can be removed and is not welded. Remove the hand guards, front sight and gas tube. The delta ring and barrel nut can be removed as an assembly. The float tube comes with a barrel nut that should be installed with a strap wrench and the gas tube holes lined up with gas tube hole in the receiver. Be careful not to bend the gas tube and see that is re-aligns with the gas key on the top of the bolt assembly. A strap wrench, a multi tool, a hammer and some roll pin punches are all that is needed. The whole operation can be completed in less than an hour. If your gun is a flat top and you have a gas block on the front place the gun on a flat table and rest it on the flat top of the receiver and the gas block and the two are lined up automatically. This will aid in a no twist gas tube assembly.

Great product. Just like ...

Great product. Just like all of Hogue's stuff. I have this on my CMMG SPR and it looks great. The only thing I don't like is that I had to drill it to put a sling stud on so I could mount a bi-pod on it. But other than that it is great. I would gladly buy one again. Plus you get the hand grip which is amazing.
