This quality replacement magazine for a Glock 17 is constructed from steel and polymer just like the originals. Works with all Glock 17s including those with ambidextrous magazine releases and can be rebuilt using factory magazine parts.

Note: Like many new magazines, these have an extremely stiff spring from the factory. It may not be possible to initially load them to capacity. Loading half of the listed capacity and leaving it loaded overnight before the first use will ease future loadings.

I tentatively give these ...

I tentatively give these mags a thumbs up. The springs were stiff during the first load (could only squeeze 9-10 rounds initially), but after 50 or so they functioned fine. The rest of the range visit went fine--I put about 100 rounds through 3 mags with no malfunctions whatsoever. While 100 is not enough to really determine if they are up to snuff, they definitely are reliable enough for range trips until they prove their reliability.

All in all, these mags are good. I had to take mine apart to sand down the plastic nubs inside the mag to get them to function properly. This wasn't real hard, also at first they are a little hard to load but they break in, you won't get 17 rounds in them but 15 will go all day. So if you're willing to do a little extra you can't beat these mags. They are usually in stock and you almost get 3 for 1. Stock up before ban!

I've been using the Korean Kahn magazines a lot lately. They fit and function flawlessly. One thing to note is that they don't drop free of the magwell when ejected. I think it's because they're copied from the 1st generation Glock mags that didn't drop free either.

Glock was on backorder so I bought these to finish my 9mm converstion and go to the range. Peformed without a flaw, fed just as good as my glock mags but half the price..

I have used many of these for plinking, training, and shooting matches with many different models of Glock pistols. I haven't experienced any of the issues mentioned in other reviews. As a Certified Glock Armorer, I would say that they are of slightly lower quality than Glock factory mags, and far less likely to function under less than ideal conditions. I have seen Kahn mags fail to lock the slide back when gritty or dirty during matches. Great way to save some dough on mags though, and practicing malfunction drills never hurt anybody. No matter what, I would recommend that a person NEVER use these magazines for their primary defense pistol. ALWAYS use CLEAN, DEDICATED, WELL-MAINTAINED, FACTORY magazines for duty / concealed carry.

I bought these for the price figuring I would just use these magazines at the range. Just as advertised, the magazine springs were stiff. I loaded as many rounds as possible by hand, 14 in one and 15 in the other, and let them sit overnight. The next day I was able to load both magazines to capacity. These were bought as G17 mags for my Gen 3 G22 9MM Lone Wolf conversion barrel. The Kahn magazines worked flawlessly with the new Lone Wolf barrel. The Khan magazines don't feel as good in the hand as the Glock factory magazines and they work well for the price.

Purchased 4. Needed to remove a sliver of plastic where the magazines were making contact with the slide stop lever on a Gen 3 G19. 100% reliable. Would not activate the slide stop on my Gen 1 G17 when the last round in the magazine was fired. I would not hesitate to purchase these again.

These work just as well as the factory magazines, but are half the price. The spring is a little weak though, and I plan on replacing it with a stronger mag spring. It came with a little extra plastic on the outside that needed to be trimmed, no big deal. I like the vintage brown paper wrappers they come in. Good deal for the money you pay.

I too was skeptical like the other raters here, but thought "at this price, that's all I'll lose to try them". Well, it was a good gamble. Perfect for range use and was a inexpensive alternative to the Glock mags for my G22 9mm conversion. Happy shooting.
