It doesn't show from the picture, but this scale lacks a max pull marker. That would not be a problem if you were weighing a fish but if you are trying to measure trigger pull, you need something that will mark the point at which the trigger broke.

Be warned...This scale works fine and seems well made but will only measure "lighter" trigger pulls.I wanted to test the trigger pull on a number of my factory guns and found that some were off the scale of this gage.If you want an all around trigger pull gage for all of your stuff, this isn't it. If you want one for use with your lighter rifle triggers you should be fine.

This is a simple, foolproof scale. Nothing to go wrong and consistant in its measurements. The only limitation is that it maxes out at 4.5lbs. You won't measure any double action or late model "product liability proof" triggers with it. My feeling is that if this won't measure it, it's too heavy for me!
