Smell? What smell? Try ...

Smell? What smell? Try using some other copper cleaners and then talk about smell...That said, here's my thoughts on Tetra's copper cleaner: 1. Non etching. That's good as sometimes when soaking a bore, one may loose track of time and this product will not eat the fine finish of your bore. 2. Takes out fouling fast and you use less to do this. Carbon, copper, and lead are raised quickly and you use less effort to remove them. 3. Cost effective. Using less you spend less. It's well priced to begin with and the product is very concentrated and thus you use less. 4. Ok, sure it has a bit of an odor, but who cares? It does the job with less effort, cost, and leaves the bore spotless. What's not to like? In nearly 50 years of shooting and gun care, nothing I've seen or used can do as well. I'm sold. You'd be too if you give this cleaner a try.

This stuff will get the ...

This stuff will get the barrel clean, but will drive you crazy with the smell. I use the Tetra grease all the time and love it, but I will not be buying any more of this copper solvent simply becuase I cannot take the strong smell. It works as advertised, but I recommend using it outdoors.

I have always used Hoppes ...

I have always used Hoppes #9 solvent for bore and cylinder cleaning but have noticed copper build-up. After surfing the web for best solvent for removing copper this Tetra kept coming up as a preferred choice of many people. Went to my old trusted website "MidwayUSA" and purchased a bottle. Worked GREAT. Barrle looks brand new.

Just when you thought you ...

Just when you thought you had your weapon nice and clean, get a perfectly clean swab and put some of this on it, run it down the barrel and wait 10-15 minutes for it to do it's thing. After 15 minutes do another scrub with your brush, and wipe out with a clean piece of cloth... Your bound to get a BLACK / Green nasty cloth out of the barrel. This stuff is truly AWESOME ! I use it as a part of my 4 step cleaning process on my weapons.One note it's more like a liquid gel, then just a liquid, it stays where you put it!

Simply the best solvent I have ever used! It seems to take a lot less time, and picks up more copper than any other solvent I have tried.
