I chose to compare this Storm M3300 case to the Pelican 1750. These are both high-end cases so most of you will have a point of reference to compare. I know they are both from the same family group but there are some differences.
The first difference, the two cases open with wheels on opposite ends. If this matters to you, the M3300 has the wheels on the RH end while the 1750 has the wheels on the LH end. May make a difference if you want your gun positioned a certain way.
The M3300 has rounded rollerblade wheels and the 1750 has wide flate wheels. Both look durable and strong.
The M3300 is a smooth plastic, (maybe HDPE blend) that will show scratches more easily. The 1750 looks like a plastic structural foam and will hide alot of wear. I believe both will last forever.
The M3300 has rubber padded handles, the 1750 has hard plastic handles.
The M3300 has (6) latches while the 1750 has (4). The latches are also different. The M3300 has a button that must be pushed to open the latch. The 1750 has a small handle that acts like a lock.
The hinge pins are bigger in the M3300 but even the smaller pins are the strong part of the hinge. The plastic on both looks like it will hold-up.
I am very happy with both cases. If I had to buy another, I would probably do it on price because neither are a bad choice.

I have owned it for 2+ years and love the secure feeling that it gives me. It is built like a tank. One gripe is the high cost of replacement foam. I cut out the outline of my rifle and wanted to get another foam piece because I decided to store a different rifle. I went to a company
that specializes in just foam and saved a lot. Regardless of the foam, the case was a good buy. It should last a lifetime and then some.

The Stormcase rocks! Very durable build quality, great latches and wheels plus has a lifetime warranty. Stormcase has been bought out by Pelican and they are now marketing it and branding it as a Pelican. This case has been to Afghanistan, South Africa, and every place in between...its still holding up great!

Nice and heavy, seems to be pretty much indestructible, I like mine a lot. I use mine for traveling but also for shipping rifles back and forth to have work done on them, has not failed. For the investment you have in a good rifle I think this is money well spent.

Very happy with this case. Was cheaper than my Pelican case and in my opinion has a better latch system.

Very happy with my Storm case and will buy some more of these when money permits. I was able to order foam online so I can configure the case for different rifles. It's nice not to worry about my expensive rifle when off-roading before or after shooting.
