The Redding Carbide 3-Die Set is designed for use in single stage or turret presses. Includes a Carbide Sizing/Decapping Die, Expanding Die and Seating Die. Standard 7/8"-14 thread. Shellholder sold separately. Carbide dies do not require the use of case sizing lube when sizing brass. These die sets come with a Profile Crimp Die unless the cartridge headspaces on the case mouth requiring a Taper Crimp Die. Made in the USA.

I prefer Redding dies. ...

I prefer Redding dies. There, that's out of the way. I also use Hornady and RCBS dies. Up front, they all work about the same. My preference for Redding is mainly due to the finish and feel of their dies.

I load for twelve ...

I load for twelve different rifles and pistols and depend mostly on Redding dies . I have a few RCBS dies and a couple of Hornady dies. The RCBS dies are good, as are the Hornady. But given a choice, I first look to Redding for my needs. All of my dies have a carbide sizer die. d2iq, Quemado, New Mexico

I bought my first set of ...

I bought my first set of Redding Dies in 1988, and these new ones are every bit of the quality as the first. Just threading them into the press, you can feel the difference in precision between these and the more commonly available dies on the market. Every stroke of the press you can FEEL the die working it's function on the round. If you're looking for true precision at a non-matchgrade price, Redding is the only choice to make.

Using the dies in a ...

Using the dies in a Dillon 550B press I am able to reload at the rate of 200 rounds or better /hr. I have used several other brands of dies in the past and will continue to do so in the future, but I especially like the Redding dies as they are super slick and very easy to adjust for both seating and crimping.. The reloads work flawlessly.
