EGW heavy duty, raised magazine catches are a great upgrade to any single stack 1911. The shelf of the magazine catch is raised by 0.020". This higher magazine placement reduces the likelihood of nose dives and improves feeding of hollow point ammunition. Machined from 4140 Chrome Moly steel, this magazine catch is checkered for better grip and will last a lifetime.
