Product Information

Provides the serious gun stock maker with everything needed to checker the most complex patterns. Tools required to cut fancy borders such as fleur-de-lis and darts are included. The set has both the slotted and the file type finishing cutters. A Pin Holder for 1/16" spirol pins is included for easy replacement of worn cutters. Kits include: Jointer (60 Degree), 2-Edge Spacer (60 Degree), 3-Edge Spacer(60 Degree), Border Vex, V-Edger (90 Degree), Pointer-Long (Fine Cut, 90 Degree), Veiner Chisel, Checker-Gage Rule, Sample Pattern Layout Designs and Instructions.

Includes:
  • Jointer (for laying out master lines), pin holder, two edge spacer, three edge spacer, border vex (cuts a beaded border around a pattern), V-edger (cuts a shallow groove over a scribed line or pencil line), pointer - long fine cut (for finishing diamonds), veiner chisel (for cleaning up borders and intricate work), checkering gage and ruler (with lines per inch scales), forend marking gage (for making straight and parallel lines relative to the top line of the gunstock), sample checkering pattern sheet and instructions.

    Notes:
  • Jointer and spacer tools are 60 degree, V-edger and pointer-long single line tools are 90 degree.
  • The two edge and three edge spacers are on offset handle shanks.
  • Set is packed in a cardboard box.
