Manufactured of tough polypropylene with thick foam padding, these cases feature a two-piece handle that prevents inadvertent openings and can be secured with a standard pad lock (not included). Dimensions given are the overall length, width and depth of the case.

I am very pleased with this case. It fits my Ruger Redhawk, 7.5" barrel, like a glove. There's enough room for a box of ammo and a cleaning rod. I slit the foam to accommodate them. I like that its airline approved and can be locked. It is very light-weight and rugged. The clasps are tight and stiff. They can be hard to open, but I just open them one at a time and close them the same way. The case will not open up accidently. This case is exactly what I was looking for.

First of all when you receive it, it looks good, but wait till you try to open it. It's hard to unlatch, it's poorly made, the foam is no good, and it is hard to close. Lets just say, DONT BUY THIS CASE, enough said. I would rather buy a dosko sport case or something even better than this MTM case. I gave mine away, that's how much I hated it. That's just me .the other reviewer seem to like it. I guess YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Hope this review helps.

Bought the smaller MTM ...

Bought the smaller MTM case and really liked it. Really like the size on this one for scoped pistol. But disappointed in hinge which is plastic verses a pin hinge on smaller one. Also closing hinges are fixed, unlike smaller one, and makes it hard to open and close. Using it but would not buy another! Price is right!

Great case! I bought it ...

Great case! I bought it for an 1858 Remington New Army, and it fits perfect. I couldn't find any hard or soft cases locally that were large enough. There's enough foam to keep the revolver and extra cylinder in place--they don't move at all when you pick it up--and a very good price.

Only case I found for my Super Redhawks and Desert Eagle. Also perfect for any semi auto if you have a few extra mags. (I've got one for my 1911 + 6 extra mags.) Sure, the latches are hard to open and close. That way you know it won't pop open.

This ia a case for large scoped revolvers or pistols. The lataches are fixed. Open one latch at a time and you will have no problem opening the case.
